Status of compliance with the requirements

The accessibility requirements for our website arise from the applicable ordinance of the Rhineland-Palatinate State Act on Equality, Inclusion, and Participation of People with Disabilities (State Inclusion Act) of December 17, 2020 (InklG RP). Compliance with these requirements is verified based on a self-assessment conducted between July 3, 2025, and July 5, 2025, using the WIX Wizard on accessibility. These websites are largely compliant with the aforementioned requirements due to the following incompatibilities and exceptions. The incompatibilities and exceptions are listed below.

Declaration of partial compliance with the standard due to third-party content:

The accessibility of certain pages of the website depends on content that does not belong to the organization, but rather to Wix.com and YouTube. The silent videos embedded in the strips, as well as the YouTube videos posted in the video galleries, cannot be provided with alt text and do not contain subtitles or audio transcriptions. On the "Projects" page, the icons of the UN Sustainable Development Goals are displayed in an animated, non-accessible image gallery. Therefore, we do not declare full compliance with the standard for the "Projects" and "Rwanda" pages. However, the animated image gallery and the videos are purely decorative; therefore, this non-accessible content is not relevant to the website's intended purpose.

Non-accessible content

The following content/functions are not accessible and are currently being developed:

  1. Skippable areas: Various content areas cannot be skipped by users of assistive technologies.
